Crafting Masterclass at Sutton Hall & Lodge

Doris who is 101 years young recently joined the Friday afternoon craft group at Sutton Hall & Lodge Care Home Keighley.

Doris wowed the class with her painting abilities and taught the group how mix and blend the paints on the paper.

Here she is with the beautiful card she created, with a steady hand and using great concentration skills.

Arts & Crafts such as this are a very popular activity with the residents, as well as being a ton of fun.

They can help with concentration and fine motor skills and encourage friendships to be made.

The final creations also achieve a fantastic sense of achievement.
